Objectives
The SLO Assessment Committee was formed in fall 2024 to support development of a sustainable and comprehensive plan for assessment of student learning at the course, program, and institution level. The committee brings together representatives from all academic programs, faculty development, and LMS administration to accomplish the following:
- Maintain a repository of student learning outcomes and curriculum maps
- Develop a process and expectations for all faculty and academic directors to carry out learning outcomes assessment on a regular basis
- Identify a method for using assessment data to demonstrate the quality of student learning at Helena College
- Discuss strategies for using the data to inform continuous improvement of teaching and learning
