Steps to Register:

  1. All degree seeking and current continuing non-degree students must meet with an Advisor before registering for classes. All advising appointments are on a first come first serve basis. You are encouraged to register early to ensure the most options for your schedule. Advisor information can be found at East End Advising (DON 119).
  2. Review the grid below to find out when you can register for classes.

Current Non Degree Student registration begins the Monday (October 30th) after the first week of registration. Please see the East End Advising (DON119) for your registration information. You will be required to show picture ID.

New student registration begins on Monday, November 13th for both new degree-seeking and non-degree seeking students.

New and returning students must meet with an Advisor in the East End Advising. Contact Enrollment Services at 447-6900 to make an appointment.

1.   Follow these steps to register for classes on My HC.

  • Visit https://HelenaCollege.edu
  • Select the Student Portal
  • Select the MyHC button
  • Enter your NetID and Password
  • Select the 'Student Services' tab
  • From the student profile landing page select ‘Registration'
  • If this is your first time registering you will be prompted to accept or refuse Student Health Insurance.
  • Next, select ‘Register for Classes.’ Select the term and enter your ‘Alternate/Advising Pin.’
  • From the Register for Classes page you can ‘Find Classes’, ‘Enter CRN #’s’ and ‘View your Schedule
  • Select the ‘Find Classes’ to search. OR select “Enter CRNs’ to enter CRN #’s, if known.
  • Select ‘Add to Summary’
  • Select Submit in the ‘Summary’ to complete your registration. You will see “Registered” highlighted next to the class.
  • In the ‘Summary’ section you will be able to Drop/Delete, Waitlist and/or Register for class if a Waitlist opening has been offered to you.

2.   Review all add/drop, payment dates, and financial aid information to ensure you are not dropped from classes. See the Academic Calendar for dates: https://helenacollege.edu/academics/AcademicCalendar.aspx

3.  A $30 non-refundable registration fee will be charged once you register.
