Veteran Eligibility

Chapter 30 - Montgomery Active Duty: If you served at least two years on active duty, you may be eligible for the MGIB-AD program.

Chapter 31Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment: If you have a service-connected disability, meet with a vocational rehabilitation counselor who will determine your eligibility.

Chapter 33 - Post 9/11 : Generally, eligible individuals are those who have served a minimum of 90 days on active duty after September 10, 2001.

Chapter 33 ToE - Post 9/11 Transfer of Eligibility: As the spouse or child of a service member on active duty and eligible for the Post-9/11 benefits, you may qualify for transfer of benefits. Both the service member and transferee must apply for these benefits.

Chapter 35 - Survivor’s and Dependent’s Educational Assistance Program: Educational assistance is available to dependents of veterans who have a service connected permanent and total disability or died as a result of service connection.

Chapter 1606 - Eligible active members of the Selected Reserve may receive up to 36 months of education benefits.
