Thriving Together at Helena College
Prevention Education for Student Success and Well-Being
Helena College is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed. As part of the Montana University System's prevention education initiative, Helena College requires students to participate in Thriving Together, an online educational program designed to promote healthy decision-making, personal well-being, and community responsibility.
Thriving Together helps students build the knowledge and skills needed to:
- Foster respectful and healthy relationships
- Understand consent and personal boundaries
- Recognize and prevent sexual misconduct and harassment
- Develop bystander intervention skills
- Support a safe and inclusive campus culture
- Connect with campus and community resources
- Promote personal wellness and student success
By completing Thriving Together, students contribute to a campus community built on respect, responsibility, and care for one another.
What is Thriving Together?
Thriving Together is the Montana University System's prevention education program for students. The program provides research-based education on topics that support student well-being, safety, and success throughout the college experience.
Through interactive learning modules, students gain practical tools and information that help them navigate real-world situations and make informed decisions both on and off campus.
Why Helena College Requires Thriving Together
Helena College believes that learning extends beyond the classroom. Developing a safe and supportive campus environment requires a shared commitment from students, faculty, and staff.
Thriving Together helps students:

Accessing Thriving Together
Students will receive information about completing Thriving Together through Helena College communication channels and learning platforms. Students should regularly check Canvas and their college email for important instructions and deadlines.
