Transcript Requests


Graduates: please confirm in your MyHC student account that your degree is posted before ordering a transcript.

Dual Enrollment students: please select the option "wait until grades are posted" when ordering a transcript.


Order an Official Transcript

Official transcripts contain the signature of the Registrar and are individually sealed. Transcripts will not be sent if there is an unmet obligation to the school. Since a student’s signature is required to release a transcript, we are unable to process requests made by phone or email. A $3.00 fee is required for each official transcript. Please allow 3-5 days for processing. Expedited transcripts are available for a fee of $10.00. Requests of this type will be processed within 24 hours.

Unofficial transcripts may be accessed through My HC, if you attended after 2000, or by completing the request form if you attended before 2000. There is no charge for unofficial transcripts.

There are 2 ways of ordering official transcripts:

Order Online

Helena College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the Web. You can order transcripts using any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed.

• To order an official transcript(s), login to the Clearinghouse secure site.
• The site will walk you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees. You can order as many transcripts as you like in a single session. A $2.50 processing fee will be charged per recipient.
• Order updates will be emailed to you. You can also track your order online.

Order by mail, fax, or walk-in:

Requests should be submitted on the Request a Transcript Form. Payment needs to be submitted with the request. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, check, and Visa or Mastercard.

If a letter is submitted it must contain the following information:

· Student Identification Number
· Current Name, Address and Phone Number
· Birth Date
· Name While Attending
· Last Term of Attendance
· Complete Address of Where Transcript will be Sent
· Number of Copies
· Student’s Signature
