About Community Education

As is the tradition of Helena College, the Community Education program is dedicated to providing quality educational experiences to Helena and the surrounding communities. Our programs offer lifelong learning opportunities that extend beyond traditional University course offerings to provide students with more choices to promote professional and personal development, skill enrichment, cultural enrichment, and recreational enjoyment, and business and industry training through non-credit classes and customized training.

At Helena College you will discover a rich diversity of learning opportunities. You may come to the College just to satisfy a curiosity, to complete a professional certificate program, or to take one of our non-credit online courses. You will benefit from the opportunity to network, generate new ideas, build community connections, and build professional and personal strengths.

As we develop and grow the Community Education program, we look forward to adding classes that meet your specific needs whether as a community member or a business. Your comments and suggestions for future classes are important and will help us design and schedule classes with you in mind.

The Mission of Community Education

The mission of Helena College Community Education is to provide high-quality, affordable life-long learning opportunities to people of all ages in the areas of personal enrichment, professional and career development, academic growth, recreation and leisure, and workforce development.

Partnership with the Helena Public Schools

Public Schools LogoAs of the summer of 2012, we have partnered with the Helena Public Schools Adult and Community Education departments to bring the majority of our area's options under one umbrella. This partnership has allowed us to make it easier to find the classes you're looking for and for us to continue to grow your options.
