To receive a Federal Direct Loan, the following steps must be completed:
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form successfully, and add the Helena College school code (007570).
- Accept award through MyHC account, check the bottom of the Accept Award tab to ensure there are no other documents to submit to the Financial Aid Office
- Complete Loan Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note (MPN) at https://studentloans.gov/myDirectLoan/index.action.
- Parent PLUS loans.
If all the above steps are completed successfully, loan monies will be disbursed according to the school’s policy and procedures.
